Please do not confuse this with the small Bronze Battle Star worn on the European, African, Middle Eastern Theatre ribbon. Also, in case you are not aware, anyone who earned the Combat Infantryman's Badge or Combat Medic's Badge in WWII are entitled to the Bronze Star Medal (BSM). I just received my Father's award after requesting it. There are lots of web sites referencing this but you can look at this one to get started. http://www.ww2awards.com/award/245
